Joshua has been in NextGen since the 1990s. The SQL schema is not a lookup — it is working memory. Practices and health systems hire M&K when charts have to land in Epic — or come out of it — and when PDMP, immunizations, labs, and device feeds have to keep running.
What we do
Complete conversions to and from Epic, NextGen, Greenway, Allscripts, Amazing Charts, SoapWare, Siemens Signature Gold, and related practice-management systems. Charts, documents, appointments, and charges — not a demographics dump.
Custom channels in JavaScript and SQL: PDMP (prescription drug monitoring), state immunization registries (IIS / VXU), labs, billing, and cardiac device IDCO. Built so you can operate them after we leave.
In NextGen since the 1990s: pre-KBM through latest KBM 8, EPM, templates, upgrades, SSRS, Crystal, SSIS. The SQL tables — person, patient_encounter, order_, document, the KBM assessment library — are as familiar as the back of a hand. That is how conversions get mapped instead of guessed.
Featured interface
We built a Mirth channel that takes IHE IDCO HL7 from pacemaker and ICD programmers — Biotronik, Medtronic, St. Jude — and lands discrete observations, leads, and a NextGen encounter instead of a PDF in a pile.
Remote vs in-clinic traffic is split, patients are matched, and the chart gets the interrogation the device clinic can actually use. See the write-up on Work.
